Michelle Hylton is a pianist and piano teacher who loves helping people succeed, tailoring lessons to the individual goals and needs of the student, whether it be learning pop songs, dealing with performance anxiety, composing/arranging or refining classical technique.
She obtained an Associates of Science in Music at Snow College in 2016 and is working on a Bachelor’s of Music in Piano Performance at Utah Valley University. Former teachers include M.M. Ammon Bratt, Dr. Armen Sahakyan, M.M. Joanna Oshida, and M.M. Heather Bosshardt.
She has played solos in collegiate recitals, accompanied instrumentalists and vocalists, adjudicated at the Northern Utah Valley and Juab piano festivals and is now a member of the Northern Utah Valley Piano Festival Association.
When she’s not practicing or teaching her awesome students, Michelle enjoys going to church, being with friends and family (especially her husband), arranging hymns/composing, and working on her website, freehymnarragements.weebly.com.
